01 · Short answer

What to ask an agency before you pay

The short answerEight questions, and concrete answers you can check.

Before you pay any agency, ask for similar players you can verify, the universities it would contact for you, a realistic scholarship range, what happens with no suitable offer, the total price in writing, who works your case, which coaches it contacted and how to check its results. Below, what a good answer sounds like and how GSX answers each one.

02 · The 8 questions

The eight questions, and our answers

01Can you show me two or three players with a profile like mine?

A good answer: Real names, positions, where they came from and where they signed, and you can check every one.

Our answer: Our players by situation are on the Signings page: a junior college forward who moved to Mercyhurst (NCAA D1), a junior college centre-back who signed with Tiffin (NCAA D2) and three NCAA transfers to Xavier, Liberty and Wright State.

02Which universities would you contact for my profile, and why?

A good answer: A list by division and route, built after watching your video and checking your grades, not before.

Our answer: After the evaluation you get a target list by route, like the example below. These are programs where we are in direct contact with the coaching staff: see the selection.

03What scholarship is realistic for me?

A good answer: A range based on similar players, never a promise.

Our answer: From the players we have guided: 80 to 100 % in NCAA Division I, and around $6,000 a year in Division II, depending on the case (at Tiffin that is about 17 % of tuition). After your evaluation we give you an honest range for your profile.

04What happens if I get no suitable offer?

A good answer: A written answer in the contract. Never "no offer, no pay": NCAA Bylaw 12.3.3 does not allow a fee that depends on placement.

Our answer: The GSX Guarantee: 14 days to change your mind with a full refund of the first payment; if within 30 days there are no real options in the divisions you accept, we cancel and refund the first payment; and profile and video within 30 days, with a report every two weeks.

05What is the total price, in writing, and when is each payment due?

A good answer: One fixed number before you start, and dates you can put in a calendar.

Our answer: The price depends on the plan and we explain it on the free call. It is fixed, agreed in writing before we start and paid in three instalments with fixed dates. The price never depends on the offer, the scholarship or the university.

06Who works my case?

A good answer: A named person you can talk to, not a sales team.

Our answer: Every case is led or supervised by someone from the founding team; some cases are run by trained GSX collaborators under that supervision. We tell you your case lead before you sign.

07Which coaches have you contacted for me, and when?

A good answer: A record you can see: program, coach, date and answer.

Our answer: Every contact is logged, and you get a report every two weeks.

08Can I check your results myself?

A good answer: Yes, on each university's official roster, not only on the agency's website.

Our answer: Five of our six NCAA commitments link to the university's official roster: check them here.

03 · Example list

What a target list looks like

Illustrative example, not a real player: a centre-back, 1.86 m, class of 2027, playing U19 at regional level in Europe, with a 7 out of 10 school average and B2 English, who wants to start in fall 2027. The schools come from our coach directory; a real list is built after the evaluation, with each program's roster needs, cost and your grades.

04 · Questions

Quick answers

What questions should I ask a soccer recruitment agency?

Ask for similar players you can verify, the universities it would contact for you, a realistic scholarship range, what happens with no suitable offer, the total price in writing, who works your case, which coaches it contacted and how to check its results on official rosters.

How do I know if a soccer scholarship agency is legit?

Check its results on the universities' official rosters, ask for a fixed written price that never depends on the scholarship (NCAA Bylaw 12.3.3), a named person on your case and regular reports of every coach contacted.

Should an agency tell me which universities it will contact?

Yes, after evaluating your video and grades: a list by division and route, with the reasons. Before that, nobody can give an honest list.

How much scholarship do GSX players get?

From players GSX has guided: 80 to 100 % in NCAA Division I and around $6,000 a year in Division II, depending on the case. GSX never promises an amount and its fee never depends on it.
